During this tour, you will enjoy the great artistic legacy left by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera world renowned for his paintings, the love for the land which saw them born, their roots, and their culture. The visit includes 3 emblematic sites related to these two great Mexican artists from century XX: the house which saw the born and death of Frida Kahlo, “Blue House”; Diego Rivera’s studio, the Anahuacalli, and the Dolores Olmedo Museum, the house of a wonderful compilation by Diego Rivera and the biggest collection in the world of the Frida Kahlo’s paintings. We’ll start our visit from the Mexico City south at the Dolores Olmedo Museum, of special mention because it was not a place where Frida or Diego lived, it’s a place where most of his legacy lives on, also the exhibition of more than 900 archaeological pieces from various cultures and historical periods of Mexico, Dolores Olmedo’s objects and decorations when she lived in that house. We’ll continue to Coyocan to the “Blue House”, where you will find a total set of belongings of this great artist, objects, and walls that were part of her life and Frida left her feelings and emotions. Free time for optional food. Before finishing the day we’ll visit the Diego Rivera –Anahuacalli museum designed by Diego Rivera, the exponent of Mexican Muralism, to house its vast collection of pre-Columbian pieces.
