We will start our tour visiting the Xalapa Museum of Anthropology: the second most important museum site in the country. It has the second largest collection of Mesoamerican pre-hispanic art in the world–around 2,500 pieces, mainly from the Olmeca, Totonaca and Huasteca cultures, among others in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as an extensive exhibition of the ethnography of the current indigenous peoples of the State of Veracruz. We will continue with a tram ride throughthe the capital to know the main points of interest, such as the Palace of Governmnet, the Cathedral of Monseñor Guizar and Valencia, and Callejon del Diamante (Diamond Alley).
