Visit the wonderful neighborhood of Coyocan located in the south part of Mexico City and its XVI century mansions full of History and Legends, we will continue to Del Carmen Museum built between 1613 and 1628 by the religious order of Carmelita’s Descalzas, with 488 years from its establishment, this is a Historical Museum that holds more than 80 pieces from of Religious Art, plus 12 mummified dead bodies and a great garden that used to be the orchard of the friars.
Time for shopping in the Saturday bazaar is one of the most colorful and visited in Mexico City, this Bazaar was first opened in 1960 and now is considered an excellent craft center that offers visitors a wide variety of paintings and handcrafts made of silver, iron, ceramic, glass, wood, and textile.
Later we will visit Chimalistac (Its name comes from an ancient pre-Hispanic town known as Temalistac which means “where sacrifice stone is carved”); an old neighborhood where bridges made of Stone and small chapels are preserved in a colonial environment
