This is the perfect program between architecture and culture that will let you enjoy the most emblematic viceregal cities of Mexico, you will begin visiting Patzcuaro and continue to Guadalajara (and surroundings), Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, and ending this iconic experience in Mexico City passing by Queretaro.

DAY 01. (SAT) ARRIVAL TRANSFER

Welcome at the Mexico City’s “Benito Juarez” international airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.

DAY 02. (SUN) MEXICO / MORELIA / PATZCUARO

Breakfast. Continue on to Morelia, a Cultural and Historic Heritage site, worldwide known for its student habitat and its magnificent colonial buildings of “pink cantera”: such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Clavijero Palace, the Major Plaza, the market of typical candies, the Aqueduct, and the Guadalupita Temple at San Diego Convent with its majestic Indian baroque décor. Continue to Patzcuaro Accommodation in Patzcuaro or Morelia, according to the operation.

DAY 03. (MON) PATZCUARO / GUADALAJARA

Breakfast. Visit the House of the Eleven Patios, the cathedral of our lady of health, the Gertrudis Bocanegra Library –with its murals painted by famous muralist Juan O’Gorman–, the Don Vasco de Quiroga Plaza and its typical Indian market. At indicated time, we will continue to Guadalajara, visiting en route Vicente Fernandez Ranch called “Los Tres Potrillos”, the entrance is subject to availability and permission by their guards as it is a private property; we will visit the restaurant for lunch on your own and its store considered “the world’s largest cowboy store”. Continue to Guadalajara. Overnight.

DAY 04. (TUE) GUADALAJARA / TEQUILA / TLAQUEPAQUE / GUADALAJARA

Breakfast. Departure to the “Tequila” region, that is also a cultural and historic heritage site; at the Amatitlán village visitors will go to one of the country’s best Tequila distilleries, to see the whole manufacturing tequila process. After this visit, we continue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, where its inhabitants are dedicated to glassblowing manufacturing and all kinds of handicrafts. Overnight.

DAY 05. (WED) GUADALAJARA / GUANAJUATO

Breakfast. The day starts at the historical district visiting the Degollado Theater, the Cathedral, the main square, the Government Palace and the Cabañas Orphanage with their famous murals painted by Orozco, which are cultural and historic heritage sites. Continue to Guanajuato and accommodation at your Hotel.

DAY 06. (THU) GUANAJUATO / SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Breakfast. The tour starts at the world’s cultural and historic heritage town of Guanajuato, visiting the Basílica, the University, its mansions, its temples, its picturesque and narrow Colonial streets, its underground streets (former riverbeds) and the famous Callejón del Beso (The Kissing Alley). Continue to San Miguel de Allende, arrival and visit to the city recently named a world cultural and historic heritage site by UNESCO, which has beautiful Colonial mansions, colonial streets and alleys, impressive colonial churches and its new Gothic style Parish church at the main square, symbol of this beautiful City. Overnight.

DAY 07. (FRI) SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE / QUERETARO / MEXICO CITY

Breakfast. Departure to Querétaro, which is also a cultural and historic heritage site to visit its cathedral its convents, its mansions, its streets, squares and the alleys, and the world famous convent of the crosses. Return to Mexico City, arrival at your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 08. (SAT) MEXICO CITY

Breakfast. We will start our city tour visiting the Cultural and Historic Heritage downtown district where we will find the National Palace and its beautiful murals painted by the great muralist Diego Rivera, the constitution square or “Zocalo”, the Main Aztec Temple and the Metropolitan Cathedral as well as some of the main avenues. Later, we will visit Chapultepec Park and one of the most important Residential areas of Mexico City, and the “Pink Zone”. Overnight.

DAY 09. (SUN) DEPARTURE TRANSFER

At the time indicated, transfer to the airport to board your return flight home.
