Day 01. (TUE) MEXICO

Arrival Transfer Welcome at the Mexico City “Benito Juarez” International airport; transfer to the hotel of your choice. Accommodation.

Day 02. (WED) MEXICO CITY

We will start our city tour visiting the cultural and historic Heritage down-town district where we will find the National Palace and its beautiful murals, painted by the great muralist Diego Rivera, the constitution square or “Zocalo”, the Main Aztec Temple and the Metropolitan Cathedral as well as some of the main avenues. Later, we will visit Chapultepec Park and one of the most important Residential areas of Mexico City, and the “Pink Zone”. Return to the hotel and rest of the day free.

Day 03. (THU) MEXICO – PUEBLA – OAXACA

Breakfast. At 08:00 hrs departure to the City of Puebla of the Angels, whe-re we will visit the Santa Maria Tonantzintla, a Temple that has been decorated by indigenous hands. Lunch. Then we will visit Puebla’s Historic Center, Rosario’s Chapel, The Cathedral and the Main Square. Continue to Oaxaca. Overnight.

Day 04. (FRI) OAXACA-MONTE ALBAN-MITLA-TULE

Breakfast. During the morning we will visit Monte Alban, archeological site build over a mountain, here we can find some manifestations of Olmeca, Zapoteca and Mixteca civilizations. From here we will visit Mitla: The City of the Dead, important site due to its symbolic cravings. We will see the great Tule tree, which is the most voluminous living being on earth. We will return to Oaxaca city , beautiful colonial city, including its Cathedral and its mag-nificent Santo Domingo Temple, and its Gold Museum.

Overnight.

Day 05. (SAT) OAXACA–SUMIDERO CANYON – SAN CRISTOBAL

Breakfast on route. Very early morning departure to Tuxtla Gutierrez, capital city of the State of Chiapas. You will enjoy the landscapes of the southern mountains. Boat ride through the imposing Sumidero Canyon with almost one thousand meters of height. We will drive through Chiapa de Corzo on our way to San Cristobal de las Casas. Overnight.

Day 06. (SUN) SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS – NATIVE INDIGENOUS TOWNS

Breakfast. Visit San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan, native indigenous peo-ple who preserve their traditions, language, religious beliefs and social orga-nization. The Church, shelter and clothing are worthy of appreciation. Return to San Cristobal de las Casas, free afternoon. We suggest walking around this beautiful city and visit the typical market, Santo Domingo, the Cat-hedral, the Herbarium Museum and the Jade Museum, which is a replica of the tomb of King Pakal. Overnight.

Day 07. (MON) SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS – AGUA AZUL – PALENQUE

Breakfast. Continue to Agua Azul waterfalls, to admire their turquoise colo-red waters. If there is good climate we will also visit the Misol Ha waterfalls. Continue to Palenque. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 08. (TUE) PALENQUE – VILLAHERMOSA-MEXICO DF

Breakfast. Visit to the archaeological site of Palenque, surrounded by jun-gle. One of the prime and most important sites of the “Mayan World”. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, King Pakal’s sarcophagus and its fascinating carved gravestone were found. We will view the Sun Temple, the Cross Tem-ple & the Palace. Lunch on your own. Transfer to Villahermosa city airport for flight to Mexico City.

Book flight departure after 5 PM. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. Included flight ticket.

Day 09. (WED) México City

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take your flight back.
