DAY 01. (MON) ARRIVAL TRANSFER
Welcome at the Mexico City “Benito Juarez” international airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.
DAY 02. (TUE) MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. We will start our city tour visiting the Cultural and Historic Heri-tage downtown district where we will find the National Palace and its beauti-ful murals painted by the great muralist Diego Rivera, the constitution squa-re or “Zocalo”, the Main Aztec Temple and the Metropolitan Cathedral as well as some of the main avenues. Later, we will visit Chapultepec Park and one of the most important Residential areas of Mexico City, and the “Pink Zone”. Overnight.
DAY 03. (WED) MEXICO – QUERETARO – SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Breakfast. Departure to Querétaro where we will visit the Aqueduct, the Ex-Cross Convent and Historic Downtown. Head to San Miguel de Allende, where many intellectuals and retired people live in. Visit: San Miguel’s Parish with the Holy House Chapel, the San Francisco church and the Allende´s house. You may enjoy a great variety of cafeterias and restaurants. Over-night.
DAY 04. (THU) SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE – DOLORES HIDALGO -GUANAJUATO
Breakfast. Departure to Dolores Hidalgo, where in 1810, the father Don Miguel Hidalgo, began the Independence war. Also José Alfredo Jimenez, one of the most famous musician composers, was born there. Continuation to Guanajuato, where year after year is home of the International Cervantino Festival. In the afternoon you will enjoy knowing this fabulous city, full of beautiful colonial alleys and plazas such as the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, the Juarez Theater, the Valenciana Mine, The Kiss Alley or the University. Its streets and subterranean avenues are unique in the country. There is also the classic “callejoneada” accompanied by students dressed in typical clothes, singing and playing music through the streets and alleys. Other attractions are the Museum of Don Quixote, the house -museum of Diego Rivera and the Guanajuato Mummies. Overnight.
DAY 05. (FRI) GUANAJUATO – ZACATECAS
Breakfast. Head to Zacatecas, a World Heritage Site. This beautiful colonial city of “pink cantera” has the most outstanding Mexican baroque style, the Cathedral. From “La Bufa” Hill you will be able to appreciate an interesting panoramic view of the city. We will descend in funicular and afterwards an educational visit of the mine of Eden. An optional activity is participating in the traditional Musical Callejoneada and after going dancing to the disco-theque that is located inside of a Mine. Overnight.
DAY 06. (SAT) ZACATECAS – GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. We will continue on to Guadalajara the capital of state of Jalisco, where tequila and mariachi were born. We will visit the main attractions: The Hospice Cabañas with the murals of Orozco, Degollado Theater, Cathedral, the Roundabout of Illustrious Men, the plazas and the Government Palace. Overnight.
DAY 07. (SUN) GUADALAJARA – TEQUILA – GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. Departure from the City of Guadalajara to visit the Tequila town, agave land. We will visit a distillery where we can learn the process of Tequila, and where we will also enjoy some tasting of the different kinds of tequila in the area. Overnight.
DAY 08. (MON) GUADALAJARA – PATZCUARO – MORELIA
Breakfast. We will go to Patzcuaro that in the Purépecha language it means “The door to heaven”. This city is famous for its colonial beauty, unique tra-ditions and its friendly people. Located in the sorroundings of the Patzcuaro Lake. Its main attractions are the miraculous Lady of Health Shrine, The eleven patios house, the historic center, and the Janitzio Island. In the por-tals of the historic center we can find a great variety of coffe shops and a many traditional restaurants with Mexican and international food. Departure to the Morelia City. Accommodation in Patzcuaro or Morelia, according to the operation.
DAY 09. (TUE) MORELIA – MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. Visit of Morelia, a World Heritage site, worldwide known for its student habitat and its magnificent colonial constructions of “pink cantera”: the Cathedral, the Government Palace, Clavijero Palace, the Major Plaza, the market of typical candies and the Aqueduct. Departure to Mexico City. Overnight.
DAY 10. (WED) MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. Day at leisure, to enjoy the city or take an optional tour
DAY 11. (THU) MEXICO CITY – TAXCO
Breakfast. Today we will travel to Cuernavaca, the City of Eternal Springti-me, for a panoramic tour of the city, visiting one of the oldest Cathedrals on the American continent, panoramic view of the Palace of Cortes, etc. Conti-nue to the beautiful city of Taxco “World Silver Capital”, to see the famous parish church of Santa Prisca with its impressive baroque Churriguerresque style; we will walk through Taxco´s lovely cobble stoned streets and admire the silver-art.work made by our craftsmen, Overnight.
DAY 12. (FRI) TAXCO – ACAPULCO
Breakfast . We will depart to the paradise port of Acapulco; arrival and accom-modation at the hotel of your choice. Afternoon free.
DAY 13. (SAT) ACAPULCO
Breakfast. Departure to the pier where we will take the “Bonanza” yacht cruise; a three hour trip around the most beautiful bay in the world within a Familiar environment companied by your friends and family members, it in-cludes an open free domestic drink bar onboard, live and recorded music, ani-mator, contests and surprises. (Transfers to the bay cruise not included). Overnight
DAY 14. (SUN) ACAPULCO – MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. At the time indicated return to Mexico City, (land transportation back to Mexico City not included). Accommodation
DAY 15. (MON) DEPARTURE TRANSFER – END OF SERVICES
